‘Tenebrae’ is Latin for shadows. The aim of the Tenebrae service is to reflect
on the emotional aspects of the passion story. It begins with the church in
candlelight, with as many candles as there are readings, and ends with the
service in darkness. The service ends without a benediction and the people
leave in silence. Min-Min to play keyboard and sing.
